BIOGRAPHY:

With fourteen years of architectural experience, Eric’s career has focused on large scale retail development projects. His project experience has encompassed every aspect of project development from conceptual design through construction administration on projects ranging from strip center remodeling to construction of new retail stores for Bass Pro Shops. Eric’s background with Bass Pro Shops creates specialized knowledge and the experience necessary to deliver successful retail environments.

Eric has been involved in the development of multiple retail prototypes including Camping World and Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, each having unique challenges and solutions tailored to accomplish client needs. Eric is involved in every facet from establishing construction drawing standards used to create the overall documents to intricate design features of individual components, working with department heads, determining essential program and spatial needs, and applying them to design concepts.

Eric’s project experience includes lifestyle center master plan development. The newest paradigm for regional projects involves retail master planning and evaluating power centers combined with demographic based life style centers.

Eric has been involved with LEED integration into retail and education projects. Demonstrating sensitivity to local conservation efforts and global environmental concerns, Bass Pro has been designing their projects to comply with LEED standards and certification. Many design concepts can be implemented during design and construction to facilitate successful themed or non-themed retail projects which are sensitive to regional and global environmental issues.

Other project experience includes higher education facilities, stand alone and infill restaurant projects, office buildings including additions and remodels, religious master planning and facility design, warehouse distribution centers, and more.
