BIOGRAPHY:

The principles of providing design excellence for each project, technical proficiency through drawing accuracy, and project satisfaction stemming from enhanced communication and customer service skills have guided the path of Nate's career. He has developed these skills by performing at the highest level on a consistent basis and by treating each project with the same sense of value.

Though a variety of project delivery methods exist, the most important aspect of any method is to foster an atmosphere of teamwork. The team concept integrates all stakeholders of the process including the Owner, Architect, Engineers, Consultants, and the Contractor such that there are no adversarial relationships, but rather that all team members are striving for the same goal. As the Owner's representative, it is the Architect's duty to protect the interests of the Owner and the integrity of the project. This is especially critical when it comes to performing the functions of site observation visits, pay application requests, and construction budgets. Each component of the process, from the germination of the original idea until the occupation of the building, is met with the same intensity, enthusiasm, and experience from start to finish.

As a LEED Accredited Professional, Nate has illustrated a dedication to environmentally sensitive design. While every project does not require a special certification, it is Nate's belief that the underlying principles of sustainable design can be applied to each project to create an intelligent design. Nate has been involved in several LEED projects and has worked with Bass Pro Shops in their attempt to "green" their newer locations.

Nate's complete understanding of the architectural process from project conception through design, documentation, and construction uniquely qualifies him as a trustworthy expert in the science of building.
